Castles and manors
The king and the king’s vassal lived at the main castle, Nyborg Castle. The most important ministers also had their estates and manor houses on the island of Funen.

Glorup Estate and park
Glorup is one of Denmark's most interesting estates and is located approx. 10 km from Nyborg. It was built in the 1590s as a four-winged Renaissance farm, but was rebuilt in 1765 into a typical, small and elegant baroque castle of that period.

Hindemae Castle
Hindemae is an old manor, the first time you hear about it is in 1480. Hindemae located in Skellerup Sogn og Vindinge Herred in Nyborg Municipality main building was built about 1787-1790.

Juelsberg Manor
The beautiful, classicist estate - Juelsberg Gods - west of Nyborg, is located with a park, Linde alleys and the nearby forest as an obvious excursion destination in the summer.

Juulskov Castle
Juulskov is an old farm. It is first mentioned in 1365 and is located 6 km west of Nyborg in Kullerup Parish, Vindinge District, Oerbaek Municipality.

The Castle in Nyborg
Nyborg Castle was first built around the 1170s by Knud Prislavsen. Over the years, the castle has undergone various restorations, extensions, and more. It originally consisted of four wings, but today only the King's Wing remains.

Rygård Castle
Rygård is located in Langå parish near Ørbæk on southeast Funen. The manor was first mentioned in 1372. A member of the Urne family, Niels Urne acts as principal.

Ørbæklunde Manor
Ørbæklunde was founded by the fusing of several farms. In the early 1500 Ørbæklunde got manor status.
