Magelund Voldsted, prehistoric monument

Magelund Voldsted is an old fortification from the Middle Ages. The site used to feature a large castle, but today only remnants of the fortification remains.

Magelund Fort was one of the country's most significant fortifications from the early Middle Ages, (1150).

Once there was a large castle, but today only the impressive ramparts remain. The rampart is 15 meters high and has a length of 70 metres.

The historic site opened to the public in 1990.
