Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) tailored to all skill levels using steel, wooden, or foam weapons. Stop by the experienced medieval stylist, offering both authentic and fantasy-inspired braids and updos.
12.30-13.00: Combat Show by the Saint Laurentius Fratrum
Witness the Warriors of the Saint Laurentius' Brotherhood showcase fierce combat with weapons and armor, and even test your skills against the armored fighters!
13.30-14.00: Sharp Weapons Demonstration
The King's soldier, Nicolai Swift-Hand, presents a demonstration explaining the various kinds of weapons and their methods of use.

The storyteller Mikkel Langbue entertains children and childish souls with the tale of "The Eagle Ballad" at Borgmestergården.
12.30: Living Dress-Up Dolls
Come by Dragtlauget’s stall at Borgmestergården and see the living dress-up dolls being dressed from the inside out.
13.30: Fýri in Concert
Experience Fýri as they perform and bring alive, including the historical 16th-century ballad "The Eagle Ballad" with authentic attire, strong singing, and evocative sounds from ancient instruments.
14.00: Juggling with Maximus Heratikus
Come and see the Medieval court joker, Maximus Heratikus' pranks and juggling.
The Tournament Square
10.00: Knight Tournament with lances
Watch the armored knights on fiery horses fight with lances on the grand tournament field in the heart of the city. Purchase a seat ticket for the tribune here. Price DKK 30. There is free access to the disabled grandstand.
10.00-14.00: Horse carriage ride in the medieval Nyborg
Experience Nyborg from a horse-drawn carriage. Ticket price: DKK 25 per person.

Experience an amazing falconry display featuring the graceful Harris Hawk and the powerful falcon in action! You can also get acquainted with the birds at their tent within the festival grounds. 11.00-15.00: Korsbrødrecafé in the Monk's Cellar
Korsbrødrecafé where you can buy historic beer, apple juice and sausages and consume it under a 15th-century ceiling with vaults.
11.00-11.30: The music ensemble Fýri entertains with medieval songs in the Korsbrødre Café
Fýri is a quartet from Denmark and Sweden. They sing and play a mix of original music and traditional music from the 9th to 16th centuries. Free admission.
14.00-15.00: Concert: "Wayfaring Pipers" - With Ian Harrison – bagpipes, shawm, cornett, and Poul Høxbro – one-handed flute & drum, percussion
Ian Harrison and Poul Høxbro are two of Europe's leading performers on medieval wind instruments. Poul Høxbro has specialized in the combination of one-handed flute and percussion. Ian Harrison's specialty is reed instruments – bagpipes and shawms – and the cornett. In this new, dynamic duo, the two musicians unite their lifelong experiences and artistic achievements, offering a virtuosic and colorful program that boldly ventures where no contemporary performers of medieval music have gone before. Takes place in Nyborg Vor Frue Church. Free admission.
