Christmas in Nyborg
When the Christmas bells are ringing, we promise that a real Christmas atmosphere can be found at our well-known Christmas market, Jul i den gamle Kongeby. The Christmas market always takes place during the first two weekends of December. Christmassy snacks, homebrew, glögg (mulled wine - a traditional Nordic drink), live workshops, magical angel creatures, activities for children, Funen museum shops and much more - there will be plenty to see and do.
Christmas time in Nyborg and on East Fyn offers a real Christmassy atmosphere...
Nyborg used to be Denmark's royal residence city and was similarly Denmark's first capital. When the King celebrated Christmas, the whole city buzzed with Christmas bustle in streets that had a strong scent of Christmas atmosphere and delicious food.
The first two weekends of each December, we recommend that you pay a visit to our cozy Christmas markets - Jul i den gamle Kongeby, which among other things, offers a lot of exciting stalls, various entertainment, and last but not least, a lot of Christmas fun.
