5. stop: The Green Clover Path - Nyborg Cemetery

A very striking monument in the cemetery is the obelisk at the end of the cemetery avenue. It was created in 1874 as a memorial to the fallen from the two Schleswig wars. There are also three graves related to the Second World War in the cemetery, which belong to three freedom fighters.

The cemetery contains a number of tombstones worthy of preservation. Some still stand in their original place in the oldest part of the cemetery. They stand together with urn burial sites of more recent date, which have been created as a result of more and more people choosing an urn burial. More space for an urn grove in the southernmost part of the cemetery has also been created. Here you can also see several burial sites worth preserving. However, they no longer have their original location, but have been set up along the edge of the urn grove.
